Sequoia’s packaging solutions have reached another important milestone. Recently, we were invited to visit a key client’s blueberry processing facility, where we participated in on-site testing of our PET tubs in coordination with TOMRA’s advanced sorting and packaging equipment. Under the high-speed, automated conditions of the production line, Sequoia’s PET fruit tubs successfully passed all compatibility tests and received high praise from the client.
The tubs used in the testing included standard 125g and 250g sizes—specifically designed for small berries like blueberries and raspberries. Made of food-grade PET material, these tubs ensure safety for direct food contact. Their crystal-clear transparency enhances product display at retail, while the optimized structural design supports automatic labeling and efficient stacking.
TOMRA’s integrated system performed sorting, boxing, and labeling with high precision and speed. The seamless compatibility of Sequoia’s PET tubs with this automated process highlights their adaptability and performance within modern fruit processing environments.
